Krasniqi: PSD racing alone in elections, PDK go into opposition

Ramush Haradinaj's resignation from the prime minister's post, following the invitation received by the Special Court, has brought a new political situation to the country.

What is the position of the Social Democrat Party going to the elections or any other option?

“The PSD has long considered that Kosovo needs change”.

“Since we are here, Kosovo now has the chance to go to new elections where institutions should be created and a Government that brings changes to Kosovo”.

“Kosovo has long needed such a solution, we must now continue with elections”, Frasher Krasniqi has declared at the Bank's Info Magazine.

But is it too early for The PSD or this party has been consolidated to meet challenges such as surprise elections?

Now one year, The PSD has been working very intensively on the ground for the formation of branches and sub-shelfs throughout the territory of Kosovo”.

“We have had tremendous results in the extent that I think compares to most major parties in Kosovo”

After Ramush Haradinaj's decision to resign, many new volunteers who want to engage and contribute to the” campaign have begun to come.

Krasniqi has said the Social Democrat Party wants to compete alone in elections that can be held in Kosovo soon.

We are ready and prepared on the ground. All elements are showing that for the PSD, elections are no problem at all we will race as the only party”.

“We are set to run alone, but we don't want to open or close the doors for anyone”.

MP The PSD has not directly indicated which parties the PSD has red lines with, but has said it is time for the PDK to be in opposition.

I think Kosovo needs changes. Subjects that were part, especially I mean The PDK must go into opposition”.

“In concrete terms this means that Kosovo needs change of governance”.

“The PSD thinks the PDK should go into opposition. This is the position based on the fact that it is one of the subjects responsible for the situation Kosovo” has come into.

He has not even wanted to comment on a possible coalition with Vetevendosje, which itself was part of this party before the split.

“There is no question of coalitions an issue being dealt with PSD is organising and mobilizing for election campaign”.
