KDI finds numerous irregularities in SKKUK tenders

Includeing the request for Marketing Authorisation as criteria for applying to a tendering procedure, buying medical products and equipment that do not match specifics specified with the Esensual Bars List, exceeding the projected value of the contract, and nonstandard criteria in various tenders are some of the irregularities [...]
These findings are the result of monitoring 12 samples of tender files that KDI has developed in the March-June period of this year, Koha Ditore writes today. The findings of this research, where tender processes with products and medical equipment from the Essencial List of Bars are published Friday at a discussion table.
Having presented the findings of the report, KDI researcher Liridona Behrami, has said that including the request for Marketing Authorisation in the Tent Files is limiting competition in tenders for supplies of medical products. According to her, economic operators are reluctant to pay the two thousand-euro price for the Marketing Authorisation Certificate, only to meet the criteria to apply.
She has said that during the analysis of these tenders, they have found that the SSKKUK continues to buy products and medical equipment that do not match specifics set out with the Esential Bar List.
