humanitarian disaster: Talk to citizens in the north where every bar is locked

In the four municipalities in northern Kosovo, businesses have closed all the stores they have, including those with food products, aiming to present a situation they are calling <x0). This is being done in protest of the 100% tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. For this situation, Government [...]
Brahim Krakovec, an old man driven to age despite hot weather, had left on Monday in the country's north to arrange documents by which he could obtain certain therapies. But she went back without doing anything, since everything in the north was closed.
There's nothing going on until Wednesday. I'm a pensioner. I needed a letter to send me for medicine to Rashe. These are not working, he said.
Krakoveci said he is hoping that by Wednesday he can arrange the documents he needs, since he has heard until then the municipality can be opened.
It did not seem to work, since all the shops were locked.
Bread ovens, medicine, grocery stores, and even cafes were closed.
Citizens there claimed to have gathered things at home, and are waiting, since they currently have nowhere to buy, since the stores are closed. According to them, this is political, but the people are the ones who are suffering.
Sasa Josicbok, a Serb citizen living in a village near Vushtrri, had come out today to northern Mitrovica for a family visit. He said what is being said is quite political and about the political interests of politicians.
Where we buy. I'm from a town from Vushtrri, south we're going to buy. I am a Serb, but I live with Albanians, we never have a problem, nor do we have any after. This is a political issue, this is not an inter-human issue. Everyone's fighting for their own chair, and the people are pulling out. I was on a visit to a friend's hospital, received gifts in the south, and went and visited”, he said.
And Lubisha, another Serb citizen, says he has his own products, and that his friends are enough.
I have my products, my garden, my friends, my property and the land I work on. This is mine, I produce”, he said.
Dijana, a Serbian citizen, residents in the north said they have bought what they need.
I don't really know. We bought everything, what we needed, what we had, what we could buy. I don't know”, she said.
Lubisa Markovic said stores are closed due to a 100% tax.
The stores are closed due to a hundred percent tax. Now we're waiting for what's happening”, he said.
And someone when you asked why this situation is, says Kosovo's prime minister knows that.
That's why you asked Haradinaj”, a citizen said.
Stanka Kacic said they dare not buy at Albanian shops.
So far we've bought, but now today and tomorrow they've decided. I'd rather buy there than be cheaper. But we can't. That's not good. People are suffering. This has been done by Vuqi, Haradinaj and Thaci politics. The people are not guilty”, she said.
While Slavisa Cacic said they have provided some things for several days.
I don't know why they're closed today. I don't know why. It's all closed. We're kind of dealing with what we've got at home, the ones we've got for a few days”, he said.
Seeing these developments in the north, the Kosovo government today has announced it will come to the aid of Serbian citizens there, sending sales points to the north.
“Today, once again we have given the institutional answer, all actions orchestrated by Serbia, which stamp the country's sovereignty, civic solidarity, responsibility and care of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo towards all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. No Kosovo citizen will be the victim of the special war orchestrated by outside agents. Kosovo is a state we share together as a society!”, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj wrote today.
Monday afternoon, Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala met with members of the Kosovo Police and local businesses, where the goods then left for northern municipalities.
That way, Shala said the Kosovo government is showing concern for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo living in the north.
According to him, it testifies that Kosovo is one and inseparable.
This after the pressure, all the influences that Serbia has under its chauvinist policy have influenced that in the north our citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who live in that part do not have the opportunity to supply with food products, because they have forced the retail points into that section to close those retail points, those countries where our citizens are supplied. This movement of ours is to assure the citizen of Kosovo, the northern resident that he is a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, the Government of Kosovo will also take care of them, and that in order that no non-citizen citizens can afford to supply food products”, Shala said.
He said the government will have the care in relation to citizens there and will react to the number of times citizens face shortages.
However, he said he hopes businesses in the north will soon open shops.
I don't think it's going to take long, I believe our citizens all those businesses in parts of Kosovo that have closed and are refusing to serve their citizens, to stop this behavior in relation to its town”, he said.
Cars of food goods and elementary things for life left for the north afternoon, where they were said to be located at certain points that will be constantly available to citizens there.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has also spoken of the situation in the north.
He said the “humanitarian crisis” is improvised
