Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, hosted today's farewell meeting, France's ambassador to Kosovo, Didier Chamber, who thanked him for the strong co-operation and support of the integration process.
A media report said Minister Hoxha, noted that Ambassador Chambert, but also French diplomacy, has testified to the support of the processes Kosovo is going through, in particular reforms by the European Agency, implementation of the SAA, and support for Kosovo's integration into international organisations.
“We have had full support from You Mr. Ambassador Chamber, for processes Kosovo is going through, in particular support for visa liberalisation. The time and political currentity is such that we have expected more in this direction from France, however, internal factors and after elections in the European Parliament, we expect to turn into focus the free movement and the removal of any suspicion of our integration path”, Minister Hoxha argued.
Ambassador Chambers praised Kosovo's co-operation and institutions, in particular with the Ministry of Integration, given and recognised Kosovo's priorities for integration within European values.
Similarly, Chambert thanked Minister Hoxha by reconfirming his support as a witness friend of Kosovo, a powerful supporter of Kosovo's fast-track integration with Euro-Atlantic integration values.
The minister argued that Ambassador Chambers has built a friendship and trust between the two countries, calling this friendship a value to the country -- a friendship that will become even greater in the future, being the common road and goal.
