Albania should quickly address the presidential crisis, not as much for the importance of Ilir Meta within the country as for the ridiculous image it is giving Albania, representing a “parallel Albania” anti-Western and anti-Kosovo Albanian official Republic.
The most extreme case is the Jahorina summit in Bosnia, organised by Bosnian Serb presidency member Milorad Dodik, who, apart from a banal mannequin of President Putin, still represents the only black hole in ethnic Serb nationalism in the Balkans, which exercises power.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci rejected the invitation as humiliating to Kosovo, and he naturally has a broader judgment on the decision. In solidarity with him, Albania's Foreign Ministry also rejected the participation of official Albania there.
Shortly thereafter, Ilir Meta boarded the plane and went to a meeting where he produced two major news items.
The first one, who has ignored Albania's official position and has also addressed the official stance on Albania's national issue as a stance in discussing Luli's protests.
The second, which has attempted to appear a leader with eastern anti-imgration, pro-in authoritarian and anti-Western characteristics, praising President Erdogan for something that he and he himself would have been surprised, for the fact that has cut the way for illegal migration to the Balkans.
In fact, the Turkish president has pressured Europe and mainly Germany to increase funding for Turkey to cut off the tide of war refugees towards the West, but that is a matter between him and the West.
Turkey has no problem leaving migrants in Turkey, but leaving Turks from Turkey, as any poor Balkan country.
The Balkans are also having no problem coming to immigrants, but fleeing its immigrant citizens. Ilir Meta alone has discovered that the Balkans are endangered by foreign immigrants, and that is why he is grateful to President Erdogan.
Actually, he doesn't have it at all. It seems Ilir Meta has decided to imitate the authoritarian and xenophobe leaders of the East, where the master model is Orban. He's trying to become xenophobe, anti-imgration, anti-Western, and like any other menu of the International Academy of Allocrats will and “an enemy-cut head on Sini”, and he found Soros.
Ilir Meta seems to have gone all the way to Dodik, a personal friend of Putin, from his disgusting contacts in the Balkans, to show us that he is now riding the horse toward the East, and to show us that he does not eat dicks from Western cold attitudes towards him.
The same was noted in his interview with renowned Greek journalist Stavros Ximas, where he was trying to present two Albania, official Albania, which identified it as bad, with Eddie Rama, and his Albania, as he now has in his troubled mind.
Ilir Meta's parallel Albania is not a crime. Albania is free country, and here everyone is free to choose a position against Albania's western road, either for or against it.
So far we've all been in favour. Now Ilir Meta has decided to oppose this path. It's not a big play. It is a new Moscow political experiment in Tirana.
The problem is that this experiment, Ilir Meta cannot do it by the post of president of the Republic of Albania, as he is speaking on behalf of an unknown Albania yet.
He cannot represent two Albanias at the table of a Putin zagari. It cannot be there, even as representative of anti-Western and anti-Kosovo Albania.
He may be such a politician, but not as president. As president on that table, it can sit down, when télia started out as anti-Western politician, win, make a majority, and become president again.
Then and it can sleep in a bed with Dodik and Putin, that if it happens to vote on Albanians as such, this country will no longer exist.
But as a representative of pro-Western Albania, as its representative in the Constitution of the protection of the national interest of Albanians outside Albania, and especially Kosovo, it cannot sit at that table and speak on behalf of this Albania.
Not that it destroys any major cause, since no one takes it seriously even here, but it makes us the equivalent of an anti-Albanian club, proving all the old Serbian anarchods, that we are tail people.
Actually, we just have a president with a tail.
