Trump signed the letter confirming the US Kosovo agreement on extraditions, Tahiri published: A Historic Act

Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri announced that he has received the letter signed by US President Donald Trump, and by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, through which the Extradition Agreement is confirmed.

This agreement marks a historic act in bilateral relations between Kosovo and the US, and it is a guarantee to say that rule of law is not alternative, and the fight against crime will run to the end”, Tahiri wrote.

The minister of justice added that the historic burden of this agreement, with President Trump's stamp, will leave a mark on the history of our state building and set aside the Republic of Kosovo in the rank of a country in which leaders of liberal democracy and rule of law have full confidence.

Otherwise, procedures have already started for the extradition of two Kosovo citizens sought by American justice.
