So declared the Secretary General NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, at a joint conference with the prime minister of northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, answering media questions about how safe Balkan countries are that are not part of NATO, such as the Kosovo case.
“NATO is present in Kosovo through the KFOR mission and that NATO is there to provide guarantees, peace and protection for all communities in Kosovo, as well as Serbs there”, he said. Stoltenberg stressed that Kosovo needs more a political solution between it and Serbia, and a support for dialogue to start again.
