Recent developments in the country and in the scope of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia have overshadowed the Special Court, which is continuing its work.

So at least according to the lawyer accredited by the Special Court, Tahir Rrecaj, who in a proposal for news.net has indicated that the special work has not paid off.

He has even indicated that during this time of <x0 media grief”, the Special Court has sent invitations and there are persons interviewed.

I've admitted two clients over May. It's not true that there's been a work break, the work has continued with invitations even with interviews”, Rhesis told news.net.

On the other hand, War Veterans Organisation deputy head Nasim Haradinaj has indicated that the latest invitation for which the organisation has been announced has been that of beating Hashim.

Haradinaj has also indicated that this Court will fail, or in another version, it will become inclusive where Serb crimes will be tried.

The court will, however, fail and I account that in 2020 it will be abolished, when once again it must be voted in the Kosovo Assembly. Until then, no evidence will be found, they are trying to find out, but there is no evidence, so I think then it will either be abolished or it will become the Court for All, so also for Serbian crimes, in which we are also at”, Haradinaj told the news.net.

That special work has continued and attorney Tome Gashi confirmed, saying there was no pause and interviews have continued.

“Based on legal provisions, the Special Court does not have to publicise guests in any quality, but remains in their will-to-do papers whether to make public special invitations or not, but this so-called pause has not occurred and the interview has continued and has not been interrupted at any moment.”, Gashi said.

Furthermore, he has added that this court has been formed for Serbia's interests.

“Of course, the Special Court, although formally formed by the Kosovo Parliament, can be freely called the International Court formed by Serbia and for Serbia's interests, and we have had a statement of Serbia's justice minister who has stated that Serbia, although closely co-operating with the Special Court, even though it has sent many material to this tribunal, yet they are not interested as Serbia sending material and demanding the prosecution of Kosovo leaders by citing a portion of Kosovo leaders”, Gashi said.

He has called this Racist Court where only former Kosovo Liberation Army members can be tried, adding that this Court has been discredited and lost everyone's trust.

While the Special Court is also known to be a racist court because it can only judge former Kosovo Liberation Army officials, it still seems that even though it has carried out sufficient investigations it is unable to freeze such charges that have shaken local and international opinion in the Aludations of Swiss Senator Dick Marty, where it is said we might have to deal with cases of human organ trafficking that it claims happened. I believe that the Special Court is now discredited and that the Court will not trust either the accused or the victims of whom this court has reportedly been established. ”, Gashi said.

Gashi has all in the end indicated that he does not expect to file charges for Kosovo's top hierarchy, as neither does Serbia.

And on the basis of the political circumstances that reign in the Balkans, according to political situations that are led by powerful states, we will see when the first charges will be raised and who will be charged, it is now clear to me that we will not have Kosovo's top hierarchy at least for now because Serbia claims it does not want such a”, Gashi said.

A large number of former Kosovo Liberation Army fighters have been invited for an interview by the Special Court.

Among the special guests who were part of the Kosovo Liberation Army hierarchy are Rrustem Mustafa, Sami Lushtaku and Sylejman Selimi, who have only been interviewed.

Meanwhile, it has been said that during the autumn of this year, the first charges would be filed, but such a thing, according to lawyer Gashi, is not expected to happen much less for high profile leaders.
