Headed by Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, the next meeting of the Interministerial Commission for the Memorial Complex “Adem Jashari” is held today in Prekaz.
Limaj, who is chairman of this Commission, has announced that at today's meeting the Commission has issued two important recommendations.
The first “concerns the selection of professional foreign adviser. The decision has also been made to ask the Government of Kosovo for the needs of professional foreign adviser”, Limaj wrote on his Facebook account. These decisions, Limaj says, pave the way for our goal to have the Memorial complex “Adem Jashari” completed as soon as possible.
Despite complex work like the Committee, Limaj has said they are determined to go to the end of this project. “We are optimistic that within a short period of time things are going in the direction because there is nothing more important for us than the Memorial complex is a sign of freedom, pride, pain, of all that Kosovo has experienced. Simply, Precasi is our history”, Limaj stressed.
The committee's present - day decisions have also been welcomed by the chairman of Skywright, Bekim Jashari, who said that today's decisions will unblock the situation and open the way to conservation and construction of the Hive.
