Rohan came from a French aristocratic family who had emigrated to Austria in the late 18th century. He had family ties with Queen Geraldine, who had married Albanian King Ahmet Zogu.
Rohan has been tough on Serbian politics of the 1990s and had rejected plans to partition Kosovo.
Austrian Rohan in Vienna's talks was a map of the plan that led to Kosovo independence, along with former Finland President Martti Ahtisaari. /Periscopi
