The European Union's statistical agency said on Tuesday that unemployment dropped to 7.6% in April from 7.7% in March, while 64,000 people were registered as unemployed.
Official figures also showed inflation (the size of one country's currency purchasing power) in the Eurozone decreased to 1.2% in May from 1.7% in April.
As for inflation data, it becomes known that the European Central Bank faces mixed signals. Inflation remains stubbornly low, despite a stimulating programme of 2.6 trillion euros that ended last year.
