draft resolution discussed Thursday for President Meta's dismissal detected

Albania's “Assembly estimates that the President's act dates 10,06,2019 for abolishing decree No. 10928, the date 05.11.2018 “for setting the date for local government bodies”, is an absolutely invalid act, released in the passage of the president's institution's constitutional and legal competencies, and as such it is considered nul and as if there has never been”, the draft resolution says.

As it further points out: Albania's “Assembly supports the position of the Central Election Commission to follow up on the election process and encourages this body to continue to protect instability, as well as to ensure the continuation of the election process for local elections of June 30th 2019 initiated as a result of the implementation of President No. 10928, the date 05.11.18 “For setting the date for local governance bodies”, recognising the latter as the only legitimate act issued by the president of the Republic of Albania under local elections 2019”
