Why was it forced to stop in Croatia, the plane coming from Stuttgart to Pristina

Kosovo's Civil Aviation Authority has informed about the flight launched by Stuttgart to Pristina, which has been forced to make a diversion to Zagreb Airport due to technical problems during the flight, and has safely landed at this airport around 18.00. AAK says flight has been accomplished [...]
AAK says the flight was carried out by the European Union airline aircraft ALK Airlines, while travellers were brought to ANP “Adem Jashari” with another aircraft of this airline at 02:40 minutes after midnight.
“Airport in the Republic of Kosovo is regulated under the agreement to establish common European aviation space (HPEA), whose side is Kosovo since 2006, through which airline companies that are registered and licensed in a European Union state or other member states of this agreement have guaranteed freedom of air traffic. This means that the certificates of air operation, operating licenses and airlines of airline companies issued by a signatory state of this agreement are valid for other signatory countries in the HEPA agreement, including the Republic of Kosovo. While a plane owns the Air Validity certificate issued by competent authorities of the HEPA Agreement, the Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority has no right to prevent their flight to the Republic of Kosovo, unless, during the search on the platform, there is no conformity with security standards”, the statement said.
Kosovo's Civil Aviation Authority assures citizens that it is making continued inspections of foreign air carriers to ANP “Adem Jashari” to ensure that air transport in our country is as secure and in line with international civil aviation rates.
