Ambassador Citaku: Vasfie, forgive us

Kosovo's ambassador to the United States, Vlora Citaku, has made an apology for the victim of sexual violence in war, Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman, who long ago confessed her story.

“Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman, forgive us.”, wrote Vlora Citaku, on Facebook.

Chitaku made this apology after PDK deputy Flora Brovina presented yesterday a photo of the rape of a wartime Kosovo woman by Serbian soldiers, in the eyes of her family, that which Brovina described as evidence.

That was not the case, however, but that picture came from a pornographic film.

Following the discovery that the photo was not taken during the Kosovo war, there were severe reactions towards MP Brovina, where her resignation is also being sought.
