Within the framework of the Albanian diaspora's economic conference, this evening the memorandum between the Union and the Albanian Business Network in Germany, MTI and the Diaspora Ministry for sharing the parcel for business park from the diaspora will be signed.
Businesses from the diaspora have welcomed this, saying Kosovo is opening the doors to the diaspora and Albanian firms today.
The director of the Albanian Union of Business from Germany, Brotherlynim Kelmendi, tells Kosovo that the park will be an umbrella or an export highway for business products from the diaspora and Kosovo.
Kelmendi from Kelmendi Company. Gmbh, claims that the diaspora business park, which will be over 50 hectares of land, will be in place soon for Albanian businesses.
“This conference made the participation of 300 Albanian firms from Europe unique, but what I appreciate today is that for the first time today we are doing Business Park in Malisheva, where there will be over 50 hectares. That's why we thank the Ministry of Commerce and Industry... I think with this park, Kosovo today is opening its doors to the diaspora and Albanian firms. We've been working for years to come to this day that today is becoming a reality”, Kelmendi stressed.
And Skender Jakaliu from the company “ecologist” in Germany has welcomed the park for Albanian diaspora businesses, because according to him, fellow countrymen' goals are to direct investments in Kosovo.
The diaspora's “Needo every time has been for investments to be directed back home. A kind of business park for all those interested in diaspora who need, desire, to invest and have a special space, with conditions and infrastructure to estab their business in whatever form, from services and products”, Jakaliu says.
The former ambassador to Germany, says for Kosova Prees that the park agreement shows the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's commitment to grant opportunities and space to investors from the diaspora.
I believe that with the opening of the park's potential, extra business for the diaspora we will have foreign and foreign companies that are interested in making products in our country. All these local companies that operate in different European countries especially in Germany have two partners for co-operation, and of course it is the best basis for gaining confidence with foreign partners such as German, Austrian and Swiss”, he says.
Jakaliu claims there is interest in investments not only in Albanian businesses, which also feel the obligation to invest in their homeland, but now there is interest in European companies, especially German companies.
During his job as ambassador to Germany's six-year mandate, it says that the biggest centigrade of work and desire has been to promote Kosovo first, its legal achievements and investment security. /
