Abelard Tahiri: Serbian citizens gave us information about smugglers

Today, a major operation by police and justice authorities has been conducted in several Kosovo municipalities, with particular focus in northern municipalities, where police and citizens officials were arrested as suspects in crime, corruption and abuse of office.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 19 police officers [11 Serbs, four Albanians and four Bosniaks] until several citizens ended up in handcuffs.

However, this action met in resistance, both armed and armed by local Serbs, where a police officer has been injured and four others have been injured.

The resistance has been organized by criminal groups. Today we haven't had resistance from Serbian citizens living in this box”.
