The search for the fourth worker in the former Adriatic Hotel building, part of which collapsed this afternoon, has entered the third hour.
Nehat Bahtiri, director for Protection and Salvation in the Mitrovica municipality, has said they are looking delicately at the remains of the object.
“Zbrasage between the first floor and the collapsed plaque is too small, so it's our hope that he's in that section and he's alive”, said Bahtiri, who has shown they've received information about the collapse of a piece of this object around 5:00.
“Around 5 o'clock we have received a call for a collapse of the object in question, the former Adriatic Hotel, which has been recently owned by the AKP and has recently been privatised. They have been performing renovation works and therefore a portion of the” facility has collapsed, Bahtiri said, in a live presentation for KTV, from the site of the event.
We have been mobilised in co-operation with firefighters and municipalities. So far, since 6:00 we're digging very delicately to see if we can find him. So far we haven't reached”, he said further.
He has said the new owner or renovation worker has no permission for work by the Municipal Urbanism Directorate.
“I don't know how logical the pillars that have been in this” facility, he said.
