Rugova has found formula for stopping Kosovo's escapes

Naser Rugova, LDK deputy, has said reforms are needed on two main pillars in the country in order to stop the citizens leaving trend.

In Express Interview at KTV, Rugova has said it is extremely disturbing to evacuate Kosovo youth and that the whole political spectrum in the country is responsible for this.

According to him, reform in education and health is needed as a way to return security to citizens that good life can be made in Kosovo.

We need to answer with consensus. Action steps on two pillars. In education, which is the basis of which I am seeing readiness for reform in the pre-university and university system, which produces frameworks for work. We have more public universities than professional schools. In countries with developed democracy, only 25 or 30 percent of young people continue at university. They are profiled and offer on labour demand. In Kosovo I see the tendency to profile public universities”, he has said.

For health, Rugova has said uncertainty results from lack of basic tools in clinics.

Try to imagine how a parent feels when he or she goes to the children and is told to buy gloves. This brings uncertainty, and two parents want to have a future in which health care is safe”, he added.

According to him, the escapes should be extremely disturbing for the country's institutions and especially the fact that Kosovo is losing its youth.

He has said that Kosovo has fallen the image of the Haradinaj government for two years. Rugova has said that the nepotism manifested in recent months has brought a depressing message to the country's youth. It has called the delay in visa liberalisation a violation of human rights, especially after Kosovo has met the criteria.
