PDK elects new mayors in Gjakova, Decani

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has held the election assemblies for branch heads and other governing structures in the municipalities of Gjakova and Decani today. At the Gjakova branch electoral assembly, delegates voted for mayor, by majority, Hajdar Beqaj, the PDK reports. The Gjakova election framework has also elected 71 members [...] by vote.

The Gjakova Election Assembly has also voted 71 members of the Steering Council and 21 delegates to the PDK Central Convention.
This assembly's work has been greeted by the deputy chairman PDK, Enver Hoxhaj. He has said the country's PDK at the level is holding democratic election process, from which even more powerful.
Likewise, Hoxhaj has spoken of the new Decade project, through which he has said Kosovo's economic development and integration into Euro-Atlantic structures are targeted.
The PDK on Saturday has also held the election seat at the Decani branch, where Bujar Kukleci was elected by majority, and members of the Steering Council were also elected, as well as delegates to the central Convention.
The branch's acting director, MP Safete Hadrgjona, thanked all of the PDK's structures and supporters in Decani for the work and engagement in strengthening and extending the PDK vision to live up to the New Decade platform, which means empowering and Europeanising the state of Kosovo.
