Director and at the same time the examiner of this center, Safet Imer, says that training for special professions such as [...] is also organized at this center.
The director, and at the same time, Safet Imer, says that training for special professions such as electrical, mechanical, welding technology and heavy - car operating are also organized at this center.
Imer has also shown that during visits he made various production companies in Kosovo, where they have noted that there is no professional welding framework for which they have also offered a co-operation that is mainly in high school, qualify and ready for work.

The “are basically practical training. About 80% of the job is practice and 20% theories and when candidates perform this training, they are willing to work. For training on us, we finally issue certificates, but we also have qualifications that are known by the National Qualification Authority, which, in addition to sealing them, if candidates meet the criteria they also seal them up, and then certificates are recognised in all of Kosovo, while we have internationally recognised certificates in the area of welding and operating heavy cars. In the welding field, we have two trainers, who we've prepared for candidates' preparation, as the test comes from the German Certificate body, and these certificates are the same as the one we get from Germany. And for heavy car operating, we also have three trainers, who are certified for the theoretical and examined part, and we have three trainers for the field practice, where tests come through the mail. We do the training and examination, while the US company makes the decision, "Hevicert" where, in case the candidate reaches the criteria for accounting, the certificate is issued for five years”, Imer said.
Given the fact that in recent years many workers have been injured and some have also suffered death in their jobs, the Obilic Training Center certified with ISO standard 9001-2015 for management and quality is enabling candidates to make the most sophisticated qualifications so that during their future work they feel safe.

“During visits to various companies, we have noted that even if workers can do a job, they lack a lot of security. And if workers are certified, the company will achieve performance at work and accidents in the workplace will be reduced, which is also intended for companies to reduce these accidents in place of work. Candidates who have conducted the training, we visit them to companies where they are employed and see if they can be prepared to work independently, so we invite all companies to do training and investing staff after this brings multiple benefits for better formation, but also for reducing accidents and improving security in the country of”, the director of this centre, Safet Imer, added.
Candidates attending training at this centre have said that through these training they have managed to get a lot of information and professionalise in performing the work they have chosen.
I've been notified about this training by some people who were here before, but I've seen it on KEK's official page. I feel good and I think that this training will help me in the future because I love big cars and have the chance to work a little bit, but with this knowledge that we're getting here, we see that we don't have a lot of security days at work. We're starting today with the phase of stimulants where we're teaching commands how they work and I think that after these theoretical and practical training, we'll be ready for work either in the private or public sector”, candidate Ghedet Idrizi said.
This training hopes that the other candidate Smajl Blace, who is being trained for the escape.
The purpose of this training I hope is employment. We have so far had theoretical teaching, then practical, the conditions are very good for us, and this training is a very good opportunity for us who are able to work”, said candidate Blace.
The Training Centre has started operating in May 2005.
Construction of the Training Centre and also equipping offices, labs and workers has been funded by KEK and the European Agency for Reconstruction.
