Kosovo will soon become by law for sanctioning denial of war crimes. This, after Deputy Minister Enver Hoxhaj's request, the Kosovo government has authorised the Justice Ministry for drafting a legal basis for sanctioning the denial of Serbian crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
Hoxhaj said the discours used by the Serbian side should be stopped, as according to him, such a thing is undermining the dignity of war victims.
The last “is a political daily discurs, also used by representatives of the Serbian List, but others in Serbia, discurs who try to hide the truth and deny the crimes Serbia has committed in Kosovo, which in a political and moral plan is a kind of double crime, so I am of the decision to take a concrete initiative and steps, that in the future, such statements, such attitudes punished through law in proportion to individuals who deny Serbian crime in Kosovo. In most Western countries, the denial of crime and genocide is seen as the greatest insult to victims, family members, as well as to the nation to which such genocide has been exercised”, Hoxhaj said.
The government of Kosovo has adopted today the Bill for Ratification of the Agreement for Financing the project for real estate cadastre and geo-space infrastructure between the Republic of Kosovo and the International Development Association, with a period of 30-year returns.
Also, the draft regulation for internal organisation and systematisation of jobs in Kosovo's national library “Pjetr Bogdani” has adopted the initiative to negotiate the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kosovo and the World Bank for Project “The inclusion of youth in local economic development”; the proposal for further reviewing the demand for real estate extension, which is affected by the realisation of the project to expand the superficial package for the electricity production initiative.
In principle, approval has been made by the decision to link the financial agreement to IPA 2019, first part, between Kosovo and the EU.
With this agreement, the European Union will finance the annual Kosovo Action Programme in 2019. The total cost of this programme is estimated at 38m euros, and the contribution of European Union funds to funding this programme is 38m euros.
The government has also approved the proposal for further review of the request for ex-social real estate transfer “Auto Pristina”, former Hotel Victory” for Kosovo Police needs.
