That happened after MP Haxhiu has demanded changing Article 8 of the pension law, where the working period of 15 years is defined so that a person can have the right to contribute pension.

And Minister Skender Recica said the Kosovo Assembly has had the opportunity to leave this situation since 2014.

According to him, the Kosovo government is not running out of responsibility, until it has added that the pension law discriminates against the most sensitive categories of pensioners.

This is where MP Haxhiu replicated. According to him, Minister Recica is not offering solutions.

He has said it is a shame for Minister Recica to refer to the Yugoslav Constitution.

And Minister Recica has said it is not important for him to reconcile with others but to work.

“Deputet Haxhiu, we don't intend to agree, but we intend to work. I think we're failing every day the work we do. Once again, we inherited this pension system, and we started reforming... You voted, not me”, he added.

At the end of the debate, the minister has pledged that in the next week he will start working on changing this law, always in co-ordination with experts and the Ministry of Finance.
