Eurosceptics are uniting forces ahead of European elections, of the alliance launched by Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who has recently joined and head of the French National front, Marine Le Pen.
Salvin sent his thanks to Le Penny for the move, and so did Jörg Meuthen, head of the German party, the Alternative for Germany who greeted French friends in the European Parliament.
Currently right-wing populists are quite divided at the European level, and the head of Lega Nord is trying to unite into a new group in
The European Parliament, after the May elections, thus to fully strengthen their impact.
Salvin and Meutchen established this alliance a few days ago in Rome.
The alliance initiatives define it as <x0patiotic” and “liberal”. Its part has also become the Austrian populist party, FP Rancho, the “Finnishes” party, the Danish People's Party and right-wing populists from Estonia.
Jörg Meuthen is the main candidate of the German AfD party for European elections.
AfD, DW says, considers Germany's exit from the EU necessary if “ides for fundamental reforms in the current EU system will not be realised at an appropriate time”. /Tch
