The Investigative Commission for Telecom, during today's meeting, has made a decision to ask Telekom to stop employing workers during the time of investigations, KTV reports.
Meanwhile, several contracts will be investigated, among them also the one with the Interadrian for which he had KTV reported long ago.
The Parliamentary Investigative Commission for Telecom has started working, KTV reports.
The head of this commission, Wisar Ymeri, has demanded that investigations in Telekom begin in 2009. The one, among other things, has proposed extending the commission's work from 1 to 6 months, which has been approved with the majority of votes in attendance.
Ymer has stressed that the commission has not yet defined its work. He has requested focus on three main pillars of investigation: Harsh contracts linked to third parties, policy influence and obtaining a divide, as well as installing nepotism in the company.
Last Thursday had failed to hold the Parliamentary Investigative Commission meeting for Telekom, as the majority of power deputies were not present. Only 5 deputies were present and in the absence of quorum, the meeting has been postponed for today.
Shkumbin Demalijaj and Bekim Haxhiu did not appear at the meeting at all, nor did they announce that they would be absent, until the Damka and Milaim Zeka were on official tour.
