Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a response to Periscope has confirmed that among the victims or injured in New Zealand's terrorist attack, no Kosovar figures.
The ministry reports they are in co-ordination with New Zealand authorities and will soon receive an official confirmation from them. So far, however, there is no information about Albanians involved in Friday's massacre.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concludes the report, confirming the information we receive from our diplomatic mission in Australia, which also covers New Zealand. So far we don't have any information that signals that any citizen of the Republic of Kosovo will figure out between the victims or the injured. Our diplomatic mission is in co-ordination with New Zealand authorities, and we soon await the final official confirmation of them, said the MPJ's response to Periscope.
The ministry also expresses condolences for the loss of 49 lives by the terrorist attack on New Zealand.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses deep grief over the loss of lives in this monstrous attack, and we pray that the families of crops will overcome this tragedy. As always, the Republic of Kosovo stands near New Zealand even in these difficult times. )
