Chief Parliamentary Veselin and Japanese top diplomat stressed that the 11th anniversary of these relations finds both countries with level of co-operation in many areas.
Chairman Wessel said at the meeting that Kosovo in these 11 years of existence as a state has been proven as a factor of lasting peace and stability in the region, and continues to work devotedly on advancing dialogue with Serbia until an agreement is reached with mutual recognition.
While, Japanese Foreign Minister Tari Kono stressed that his government closely follows developments in Kosovo.
The decision to open the Japanese Embassy in Pristina -- which, as it was said at the meeting by two negotiators -- will affect expanding the possibilities of co-operation between the two countries, especially in the area of business and investment.
Chief Parliamentary Veselini asked the Japanese minister to support Kosovo in the process of involvement in international organisations and other global initiatives.
Minister Kono said his government maintains a pro-active stance in this direction in support of Kosovo.
