The decision to compensate for lost hours during the three-week strike is continuing to crash the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) with the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK).
Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi has told Periscope that the court has given the ruling of the ministry he leads in terms of compensation for lost hours.
Our decision is based on law, where the Ministry of Education has the right to decide for the calendar year, and on this basis the decision, which even the Court has returned the answer, cannot suspend the verdict because the court has ruled that the verdict was legal”, Bytyqi said short for Periscope.
For this court ruling, Bytyqi has referred to the Constitutional Court's decision in Pristina the first few days ago, where the suit that the SBASK has filed with August over the case has been rejected.
For SBASK Chairman Beftman Jasharaj, such a decision continues to be illegal and unacceptable.
“We are insisting on two facts, the first fact is that it is the decision of the Steering Council that is the voice of Kosovo's teachers, and the other fact is that Minister Bytyqi's decision has no legal support in any law existing and we are being called specifically on the Greece Law, which does not compensate participants in the strike to compensate for the lost”, Jashar said of Periscopi.
However, despite the SBASK STAT clashes that are continuing in terms of compensation for the hours, Jasharaj told Periscope that the SBASK will accept any court ruling.. /Periscopi/
