By January 1, 2017, over 280 people have lost their lives in road accidents, 137 died in 2017, 129 in 2018, and others 15 this year.
To boost security, as well as discipline drivers and other participants in communications, by January 1st of last year, fines for counter-winners have been toughed.
Since the new punitive measures entered into force, Kosovo Police have pronounced more than 463 thousand tickets to lawbreakers in road traffic.
