Rukiqi is the head of the Kosovo Economic Ode, the institution that deals with protecting business interests.
In an interview with the newspaper “Koha Ditore” he has said that issuing “pe” by Government in addition to pressure from employees in the public sector, has created a negative precedent, which, according to him, could repeat even in implementing the wage bill.
He has said that Kosovo has so far had macro-fiscal stability, but if this cycle does not stop, we will come at risk of the state itself.
Rukiqi has also talked about the impact that the possible minimum wage growth will have and the effects tax has produced 100 percent on Serbian products.
It has cited the need to attract new investments and risk additional taxes because of the transparency of expenditures created in the public sector.
