Despite the objections the two ruling parties had, The PDK and AAK, about the tax the Kosovo government has imposed on Serbia, the Alliance's deputy chairman for the Future of Kosovo, has said the tax decision is Government and will remain so.
The two ruling coalition partners, The AAK and the PDK seem to have good reports despite different positions that these two political parties have for imposing 100 per cent measures on Serbian goods.
The deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj said they continue to have good reports with the PDK, and that the 100 per cent tax ruling on Serbia is government and will not change.
“Alance for the Future of Kosovo and the Democratic Party of Kosovo continue to have very good reports, despite different positions that may exist about the 100 per cent tax. The government's decision on the latter is and as such will stand”, Lekaj told Gazeta Blic.
We know that the two ruling parties, The PDK and AAK have had some objections regarding the 100 per cent tax. Chairman The PDK, Kadri Veselini, has proposed that the tax be suspended for 120 days until Serbia meets 10 conditions.
We remember, since days ago, heads of state have received a letter from US Deputy Secretary of State Matthew Palmer, who has shown them that the tax on Serbian and Bosnian Serb products has marred reports with America.
In the letter sent, the US expresses dissatisfaction with decisions made by the Haradinaj government. But despite the US request, for the suspension of the tax, Prime Minister Haradinaj has asked the United States to understand the tax, and that this determined measure cannot be suspended. He has also expressed his conviction that the 100 per cent tax will accelerate the achievement of a Kosovo-Serbia agreement.
