On January 15, last year, A. G from Drenas had taken to private location “Kestrine”, owned by Fehmi Ahmeti. The 18-year-old had turned to Ahmeti's office to abort the pregnancy.
Yes, she had performed her abortion that day in a gynecologist's administration, but with no written consent.
For this, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has called for the appointment of house arrest measures under suspicion of having put out the pregnancy without the consent of the pregnancy, according to Article 183 of the Penal Code and contrary to the Law on Disabilities.
For this work Ahmeti may be sentenced to 8 years in prison.

And today, the Pristina Constitutional Court has approved the prosecution's request for the appointment of house arrest measures for a month for Ahmeti.

The court has found that the request for house arrest was made in view of the weight of the criminal offense, since the defendant if found in freedom, there is the danger that the same would affect witnesses or flee in order to evade criminal responsibility”, the Court's report to the media said.
But, except that Ahmeti is allegedly performing an abortion without the consent of the pregnancy, after inspections of the Health Inspectorate of the Health Ministry have been found that the orientation in which the abortion was performed is without license, and with no condition to have an abortion.
“You confirm that health inspectorate inspectors have inspected the administration of gynecologist Fehmi Ahmeti and have been found to have been without license.
It has also been found that there have been no conditions for abortion”, the Chief Inspector Ardita Barak stated.
Investigations and inspections in his administration are under way following the abortion of the 18-year-old girl from Drenas, who is also suspected to be the victim of sexual violence by Professor Shozen Jackie and police Officer Vesel Wessel from Drenas.
