Shala has said this decision has come as a result of numerous complaints, while adding that this will eliminate the possibility of manipulation with the location of flags close to products.

After numerous complaints on the part of consumers, media and other relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo today, I have changed Article 4, par.3, Administrative Guide No. 20/2018 To set the shape, content and use of the flag on product origin.
With this change, it is no longer permitted for products sold on the Kosovo market to set up flags based on the fads, but rather, based on the country of origin/production (until now there are reported cases where the origin flag is placed on the basis of the stomach, but has not been in line with the country of origin where that product was produced). This completion of U.A. has been made to clarify and eliminate any possibility of manipulation with the flags placed near the price of the product”, Shala reported on Facebook.
