Minister Bytyqi has said minister Sahin has proposed two projects dealing with exchange of students and the exploitation of Albania's electronic library, even from Kosovar students.
Bytyqi: Both these proposals have great value for students and students
We discussed projects that we have started and we have to continue, but there were also discussions about new projects that await us between the two ministries, a real co-operation that has existed and will continue. The minister has come with two concrete proposals, which are of particular importance. One proposal concerns higher education and another project dealing with education before the university. Both these proposals are of great value to our students and our students... We will take immediate steps in co-operation with the minister to realise”, Bytyqi stressed.
Minister Sahin stated that within the answers the Government of Albania has given to the student protest in Tirana, there is also electronic libraries that students have sought as another opportunity to improve scientific research at the public universities of the Republic of Albania.
Sahin said the electronic library is available for 110 thousand Albanian students, but has been proposed to be the same package for Kosovo students.
Sahin: We have a student exchange project.
This library will provide 110 thousand public university students who are in Albania and other researchers for a three-year period. A little the same package could be made available to students in the Republic of Kosovo... And the second project that we discussed concretely with the minister we hope to realise as soon as possible is a student exchange project. The idea is for high school students from Albania to receive high school classes in Kosovo and students from Kosovo to spend time in Albania taking part in daily instruction in Albania”, Sahni stressed.
She hopes this project will be realised by spring. Otherwise, the electronic library is a platform that has millions of scientific articles, some 170 thousand books that can be used for various fields of study, as well as a package through which foreign language is taught.
