Kosovo thermals will be halted if the Kosovo Energy Corporation joins the Law for Pay.

So has made known about the Hearts. Info the deputy chairman of the New Trade Corporation Kosovo Energy Corporation, Nexhat Llumnica.

Llumnica has said it is unacceptable to introduce KEK to the Law for Salaries.

Kosovo Energy Corporation's “for us as employees is unacceptable access to this wage law because we have our own budget, which we create from electricity production and not from the state budget, and there are no administration or civil servants in KEK, but they are workers of the mine and thermal power plant”, Llumica said.

He has added that KEK workers cannot be compared to those of administrations and civil servants.

“70% of them don't even enjoy retirement because conditions are very serious, given that investments have been made for personal protective equipment and that despite their use they cannot afford risks at work, and that's why we can't agree and find workers to work for the coffients that they have assigned to the administration and civil servant”, he said.

Llumica has said they will enter the strike and Kosovo remains in the dark if they do not withdraw KEK from the Law for Pay.

“We made our explanation in 25.07.2018 when it was time to explain the union bill and we heard and we saw that we also want KEK to enter this salary bill which is unacceptable for us and we will go on strike in case it is implemented. If it comes up to the strike we will go on strike and Kosovo will remain in the thick darkness or not because even we don't have workers who risk their lives and take diseases for salary 239 euros”, he added.

He also added that they did not meet with Government from 2017, but that their objections have been announced.

“We have requested earlier meetings with the ministry and Government, we have met with this one only on October 7th 2017 and January 6, 2016, when it was discussed salary flows, while for this bill we have not yet met but sent our request in writing. KEK gives about 30m euros to the Government of Kosovo, 3 euros paid the coal tone that we extract while in the region it is 30 cents, and except it gives the state budget 30m euros these dods again overs rule with the Law for Pays” has ended Llumnica.
