Our “Mic, Republic of Greece, is the first country to adopt the Protocol for our country's NATO membership. We go to guaranteed success. It's easier with allies, we proudly say we are NATO!”, writes Zaev.

Following approval in Parliament, Greece will have to officially announce Macedonia that it has adopted the Protocol for Macedonia's NATO membership. The Prespa Agreement comes into force and the official use of the name Republic of Northern Macedonia begins. After Greece, it also needs the other 28 NATO member states to approve the Protocol so that the Republic of Northern Macedonia will become an all-powerful NATO member.
