Vuciq: Before New Year's Eve, Albanians could only enter Serbia with ID and vice versa

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq confirmed that one of the agreements expected to be signed in Belgrade at the end of January is freedom of movement through respective airports, which means that the three countries' security and police services will exchange data, have joint databases, and will at any time have [...]

Vucic said the Belgrade summit would be historic in understanding concrete agreements to be signed.

He confirmed that they have agreed with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and northern Macedonia Zoran Zaev on a number of issues, including the largest integration of relevant organs into extraordinary situations, abcnews reports.

“We first agreed on a greater integration of our bodies for extraordinary situations, for the joint action of fire departments, police units in case of fires, flows, earthquakes, everything in which Serbia, Albania, went through, North Macedonia before them. So we have common databases so that we can simultaneously have our own networked systems so that we can immediately help each other, react at any moment and that all capacities are available to all. ”

He said it is of particular importance, which was proven even in Albania's case.

Vucic confirmed that the next meeting will be held in Belgrade in late January and said it will be a historic summit.

I think this is going to be a historic meeting in any sense of what we're about to end up with. We've reached concrete agreements on a lot of things.

Before the new year, we will have a decision for our people to enter Albania on ID cards, and people from Albania can enter Serbia only with ID cards, including access to northern Macedonia and North Macedonia in Serbia. ”

The Serbian president said they have created a software that everyone has accepted, which will help on a number of issues, Abcnews reports.

We've reached agreement to have our share of work markets. So if an Albanian or citizen of the Republic of Northern Macedonia passes through the territory of the Republic of Serbia, it is enough to use its own phone, laptop or any computer. Nothing else needs it, it's called in Serbia, and it says it will work this or that kind of work. Within five days he is equipped with a number of examiners from our bodies and after that he can work on the territory of Serbia whatever he wants. And the same for our workers on the territory of Northern Macedonia and Albania. People, this is revolution, this is great news. That way all three of the three countries will cover many holes and problems we've had in the past. Even in the construction of highways, in particular, in jobs with large investments that we needed we needed welders, lockers, bricklayers, carpenters and others. ”

The Serbian president said that since December 1st, it has been achieved for the Sanitary service to be 24 hours, as well as veterinarian inspection.

“We want to work with our customs and customs services will have many important joint meetings and we will try to approach customs taxes, which means a common customs space in the future. These are extraordinary news that will guarantee us great priority to others in the region in attracting foreign investment and using our territory for transit and other things. ”

Vucic said he wants customs at those crossings to work 24 hours and that this will be regulated by customs prior to the Belgrade Summit. He confirmed that the Authorised Economic Operators also talked and said Serbia has 24, Northern Macedonia has 4 and did not know how much Albania had. Vucic said the agreement on them includes that they can be found out where the site of the authorisation, the site of the merchandise control, so it doesn't mean it must be in customs. The Serbian president also confirmed an agreement to be signed in Belgrade regarding air transport. He explained that when someone arrives at Belgrade Airport, there will be no need to show any more documents and will not stop anyone in Skopje or Tirana or vice versa.

“While our security services and police will exchange data, have joint databases and at any time have information on anyone who stepped on the Airports in Tirana, at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, etc.
