He threw the baby in the trash, the mother was arrested

A baby born just a few days ago was accidentally discovered by a local resident who heard her crying in a trash can.

If she had not been observed then the baby would not have survived, as a garbage truck would have arrived soon, reports the BBC.

“Baby got lucky in the accident. There was a delay in the garbage collection that day. Our trucks, in addition to his meeting, even press waste”, said Thanassis Vasilopopoulos, chairman of the Callamata municipality.

Vassiliki Tson, the woman who found the baby, said that the baby was in a paper bag. When she heard the outcry, she first spoke to neighbors who told her that she was probably a cat. But fortunately she went to the trash can to see what was going on.

The police arrived at the scene shortly, and the child was transported to the hospital. Doctors believe she will be completely healed.

According to recent information, the child's alleged mother was arrested for attempted murder.
