The personality of 2019 by Periscope: Isa Mustafa

Isa Mustafa may not yet have been elected Hashim Thaci's successor as president, but Periscop's editorial board has given him the title of “Personality of the Year 2019”. The reasons for this are many. Prior to 2019, Mustafa was considered in a form of political proficiency”, completely marginalised by decision-making.
Unfortunately, Mustafa faced poor health for what he was unjustly attacked by political occupants. Even within his own party. Besides, Mr. Mustafa as LDK chairman was coming to an end, and takes into account reduced political activity, large and small, expressed ambitions to take power.
Lutfi Haziri, Vjosa Osmani, Agim Veliu, and even Gazmend Muharzier openly expressed their ambition to lead the LDK. After all, at first glance everything seemed easy. It was enough just to shake the cane for Mustafa to fall. But... there was a problem. Mustafa was not held by just one stick.
Although it seemed totally insignificant in Kosovo politics, Mr. Mustafa in his mind was creating strategies to return to the top. More powerful than ever.
It's perfectly legitimate to express ambition for chairman. The LDK is a democratic party,” he declared, questioned about co-party ambitions.
But as the internal struggle continued, it was naturally established as the preservation of party unity.
And so, the LDK was introduced to internal branch elections and underseas with added tensions. There were numerous incidents of violence, and the possibility of a new and traumatic division [2006] was passed before each party member. At least, the grim horizon of a party split was not appearing in two. The LDK seemed to have been divided into some parts, some smaller parties. And that was her destiny.
WHO ISOJ, the need for a savior was naturally developed for a balance keeper, a scaler, a unifying figure. And who would rather play such a role than the outgoing, ill-mannered and ambitious, than the man who spoke to the discretion of a statesman. Isa Mustafa, then.
So, after a very painful election process, Mustafa became Again, LDK chairman. That happened days after Ramush Haradinaj resigned, still outgoing prime minister.
And what Mr. Mustafa as the party chairman was later even more genius. Periscop had reported since summer that Mustafa wanted to become president of the Republic of Kosovo, but people thought he was at the helm of the LDK just to maintain party unity.
How was it to achieve that goal, then, with a party that had not had a leading role in opposition to Ramush Haradinaj? Making his enemy the biggest in politics, Vjosa Osmani, a candidate for Kosovo prime minister.
However, it was not the prime minister's position that targeted Mustafa [with that, the LDK]. It was the president's then.
The LDK entered into negotiations as the second party with Vetevendosje for forming the government, immediately giving the prime minister's position, but equally demanding the minister and the president of the Parliament.
Mustafa aims to sit on the presidential chair in April 2021, while trying to lower humble Avdullah Hoti in the Parliament's chair by becoming the strongest man in Kosovo politics.
With his clever political game he's trying, and no doubt he'll make Albin Kurt a puppet prime minister. Currently Kurt is rejecting the role of prime minister, but we all know he will not forever reject it.
For the course, it simply takes into account its survival in Kosovo's chaotic policy, Mustafa appears an extraordinary politician for this year. But he accomplished much more than that. Margjilanized Kurt as the main figure of opposition/changing, and marginalised the ruling Veselin and Haradinaj. Positioning as Kurt's only possible ally to come to power, Mustafa is currently the most important politician in Kosovo, and without a doubt deserves the title of “The personality of the year”. /Periscope.
