The Kosovo Court of Appeals has rejected him as unconfirmed on the grounds of the defence attorney, against the decision on the appointment of a month-long detention measure against defendants Jabir Zarko.
According to the announcement by the Court of Appeals the Constitutional Court Act at Ferizaj on December 15th, under which the measure will last until 13 January next year.
Former Kachanic chairman is suspected by the prosecution because of two criminal acts “Using official task or authorization”.
The Court of Appeals has found that the first degree court has deemed there a doubt based on the fact that the defendant committed the criminal acts in question, there is legal grounds for continuing to comply with the standards of the Criminal Procedure Code, because there is reason to believe that with his finding in freedom, the same could escape or escape, in order to avoid criminal procedure, or to influence evidence or witnesses, on the grounds of preventing its normal course.
