A false license “patriotism” of Vetevendosje in Tirana

A group of militants from the “Movement, Vevendosje”, have gathered today in Tirana to condemn as “the <xtradition” to Kosovo the meeting of three Balkan prime ministers -- the one of Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia, who are trying to produce a new format of regional co-operation, based on four European Union principles for free movement, free flow of goods, capital circulation and labour.

In essence, the initiative is an effort by each Balkan country to use Western support for resolving local problems. The idea is to use four basic principles of European freedom to solve problems between each other.

To explain this initiative more simply, we need to explain the failed history of removing Albania- Kosovo these 20 years.

For 20 years since 1999, every prime minister of Albania or Kosovo every time he decided to appear a patriot stated that he would remove the Albanian-Kosovo border, unite customs, taxes, energy system, education and other bullshit.

Once there was no step. The failures accused each other in campaigns, but the big truth is that removing the Albanian-Kosovo border, the West stands in the way of a guarantee that it has given Serbia against the Albania-Kosovo union.

This has to go on indefinitely, as long as each one's imagination can work on when the Serbia-Kosovo talks will be closed.

To remove the Albania-Kosovo border, without ending the talks, possibly endless, between Serbia and Kosovo, the Balkan Mini-Shengen initiative is the only way that can melt this “facto” border.

The initiative predicts that all countries of the region can do what they can from the four main principles. Word comes, Kosovo with Albania can realise all four principles.

Serbia with Kosovo can deliver two of these principles (good market) to them. Serbia with Macedonia can achieve fourth. Bosnia and Serbia can realise one. Montenegro with Serbia, Albania and Kosovo could realise fourth.

So if there's a patriotic thing, since it became fashionable, that can become concrete and can end this pathetic 20-year-old lie about removing the Albanian-Kosovo border, it's exactly that parties can interact at acceptable levels with each other, depending on the problems they have with each other, thus easing many of the problems the EU or the US should deal with in the future for major things, such as the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue.

Kosovo's non-participation at this point upsets Albania and Kosovo, as it burns the chance to have the Albanian-Kosovo border removed.

Without Kosovo, we Albanians really don't get anything big from Mini-Shengen, but we don't lose anything.

Amman, before we protest as <x0patriot” against this initiative, we should have the courage to tell Albanians that there is only one chance to remove the border with Kosovo before Kosovo agrees with Serbia symbolically through agreement. And this chance is Mini Schengen.

Otherwise, we will have to wait for the Belgrade and Pristina firm as “paid” to remove our border.

And this for a simple reason, as Kosovo free and independent did not do it ourselves, but made the West, the US, NATO and the EU. Those who made it up to us have made it. The condition is for Serbia to be removed from Kosovo, but not given to Albania.

The only regional concession that makes us “de facto” removing the border is this initiative, which in the final and may fail. But there is no gain from this failure. Especially for those who want to continue having the “patet” of patriotism.

Soon Albin Kurti will have to meet with Vucinqi, as his subordinates and Djuric met by drinking beer.

No one's gonna say traitors, even if this Vuchy is gonna be. One that does not recognise the Recak massacre, which we view as “Albanian” -- this one who has served Karadzic beer and has more friends in Brussels and Washington than Albin Kurti and in Serbia more votes than Kurti in Kosovo.

We're not going to tell traitor Albin Kurti, that he didn't pick Vuchy in front of Serbs. The Serbs have chosen it because it represents them. Like a quarter of Kosovars have chosen Kurt.

The only common thing I see among them as nationalist is a banner of Kurti's supporters in the middle of Tirana, where Kosovo, the heart of Albania”, was written. Just as Serbs say, “Kosovo, the heart of Serbia”.

It's the same with rhetoric.
