Djukanovic will leave for Tirana tomorrow, at the invitation of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama at the meeting of Western Balkan leaders, including Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq and Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

“President Djukanovic's participation is a confirmation of Montenegro's commitment to regional co-operation and stability, improved good neighbourly relations, as well as its responsibility to obligations stemming from the negotiations process with the EU. Also, the Tirana meeting is an opportunity for an open dialogue on developments in the region, common development priorities and the European perspective of the Western Balkans”, said in the Montenegrin presidency's announcement about Djukanovic's visit to Albania, the Bank Kosova broadcasts.

For the Montenegrin head of state's participation in the meeting of Western Balkan leaders in Tirana, his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vuciq, has also expressed satisfaction.

At the meeting of the initiative known as “Mini-Shengeni” Kosovo will not participate.
