Vernon Unsworth, who played a key role in saving their 12 boys and football coach from the cave in July 2018, said Musk on Twitter called him a pedophile.
Musk did not erase the post and provide no evidence for the prosecution, and a defamation trial was filed against him, the BBC reports.
Unsworth's lawyers described Musk's claims as evil and false “, and demanded punishment and compensation.
Mousk called Unsworth a pedophile after the diver criticised his decision to send a mini-intervest to the cave to save the children, whom Musk answered in words: “Sorry pedophile, did you really ask him?”
