On the anniversary of Astrit Dehar's death, Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has shared some memories with former LVV activist.
Ahmeti says Astrit Dehari always went to the office when he met a citizen in trouble to offer help.
His death in Prizren prison where he was sent and unjustly kept remains unexplained. And this is a burden not only to the then political and administrative power, but a burden to each citizen of the Republic. The burden and responsibility will only increase until all circumstances are discovered and all the responsibilities of what happened” wrote Ahmeti on Facebook.

Astrit Dehari was political activist, LVV activist, exemplary student and for a time even exemplary worker in the Pristina municipality.
Besides the health management themes, he used to come to my office whenever he met a citizen in trouble from the economic and social situation and thought we should help him. He viewed help in need as a vital goal.
His death in Prizren prison where he was sent and held unjustly remains unexplained. And this is a burden not only to the then political and administrative power, but a burden to each citizen of the Republic. The burden and responsibility will only increase until all the circumstances and all the responsibilities of what happened are discovered.
But today, on the threeth anniversary of Astroth's early death, remember Astrit for the man who was, the modest, the worker, the soft voice for friends, sounds strong for justice and equality.
The unforgiving soul!
