Xhemajl Mustafa on the night of November 23rd, was shot by two people at the entrance of his residence in the neighbourhood of “dania” in Pristina and then died in the hospital.

The handmen have not been caught until this day.

Mustafa, died at 47, leaving behind his wife, daughter, Berianna, and son Besian. Mustafa's murder is considered one of the most serious political motive killings in a systematic campaign, attacks, and murders of Democratic League members led by Ibrahim Rugova.

Investigations into his murder had initially led UNMIK and KFOR police.

Mustafa's wife, Bahrije Mustafa, had confessed the moment she heard the shots.

When I got to the roof, I see that the population is crowded, and the police are here. I thought, I had a feeling, I closed the door, when I went, I saw the perspectives, it was the horror, one crying. I ran down the stairs, when I got out, some blood stains I saw on the steps”, she confessed to the APN.

Mustafa's son Besian, who holds the position of spokesman in LDK, today in memory of his father has said that those who have carried out the work have killed their children's future.
