Various German organisations since the post-war have helped restore Kosovo's economy.
This has been and continues to be “German GIZ”, an organisation that operates to this day in Kosovo, supporting small businesses.
Such support have been given to Krusha's women, who deal with the production of ajvar.
The ajvar of Krusha's women, German Ambassador to Pristina Christian Heldt, has also promoted it in the middle of Berlin.
Heldt said this is a promise he had given while ordering the Germans to eat more ajvar.
“Eat more ajvar, is healthy and tasty”, Heldt wrote.
“20 years of German-Kosovo co-operation: For a decade, the strong ladies of #Krusha work as collaborators with @giz gmbh. I promised on my last visit that I would raise awareness about Ajvar. And now it's available in the heart of Berlin. Germans, eat more Ajvar”, wrote Heldt on twitter. /Periscopi/
