Should the priority bypass the idea of demarcation with Serbia?

Without claiming to give advice on what the priorities of Kosovo's future government should be, I would like to stress that reaching the final agreement with the northern neighbouring state should be perceived as primary work. There are several reasons for this.
Firstly, the frozen 20-year conflict is the main obstacle of our non-membership in major international bodies. Without becoming part of relevant international institutions, we will not be able to round up our citizenship. This is a fact that should not be ignored by anyone.
Second, the situation of the frozen conflict is the main factor why in Kosovo, even after 20 years of freedom, there has not been invested in any world - intensive company like it does with neighboring countries. This is a clear indicator that major investors investing in Kosovo consider the high risk, meaning that business environment in us is uncertain. In another scripture, I have tried to bring in empirical evidence about foreign investments in Kosovo and Serbia, where the latter clearly led. Even state companies we consider to be friends prefer Serbia, not Kosovo. This is because political security is the main factor when investment decisions are made -- although there are other factors in this.
Third, our struggle with Serbs does not present a unique case. Other peoples have fought against one another with far more consequences than our own. But one day they have been forced to make peace between themselves. They have done so because there is no development and prosperity under the terms of a lasting conflict between two peoples. Above all, they have made peace for the sake of future generations. All for example. We know the consequences of the five-year Ottoman rule. Albanians have been the only people in the region deprived of the right to be educated and educated in their native language. Today we have forgotten this rulership and have good relations with the descendants of Ottomans in modern Turkey.
Fourth, Serbia and Serbs are our main neighbours and vice versa. No misunderstandings: I mean physical, not spiritual. We did not choose them for a neighbor, nor did we choose them. That's a geographical fact we can't change. We are currently hostages of each other's development and European integration. The earlier we realize that the historic agreement between the two peoples is vital, the earlier we will pave the way for the socioeconomic development of both peoples.
Can we reach the historic agreement final?
We never had a better time to do this than we do today. It is the international factor's interest, especially in countries we consider to be friendly, in reaching the agreement. Another advantage is that in power we will have the most competent and educated politicians who don't have mortgages of the past and who rationally know to approach the solution.
Three are possible approaches to frozen conflict: status quo; The Association of Serb majority municipalities; and, demarcation of the border. The first means an endless evil. The second means installing a planted bomb that we as a state could never control. Even the third approach, if not managed with wisdom and political vision, can bring human tragedy. However, no matter who may have initiated, demarcation of the border with international agreements, with the preconditions that the solution will have rationality, without national-sovist fires, without population, perhaps could bring about final peace between the two peoples.
I wouldn't have gone any further about why I think demarcation is the most rational solution, but I'm convinced that this opportunity deserves to be treated carefully and not be thrown down. Besides the political class, the treatment of this subject must also be done by the Kosovo intellectual elite, to help the political class solve this problem once and for all. After all, intellectuals are bound to do so. Otherwise, as a people and as a state, we will continue to drag on in time and space, without perspective, just like Cypriots or Kurds.
