How late will the 50 - page translation of the experience in the Astrit Dehar case be?

Last week it was said that the results of Swiss expertise in the Astrit Dehari case would be translated in three days. But it seems that family and opinion must wait longer to understand the outcome of Swiss people believed to seal the mode of Vetevendosje activist's death. According to the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecution in Prizren, Admir Shala results of expertise have over 50 pages of material.

Shala has told Gazeta Express that she expects this week to complete translation of volume expertise.

It has been six days since the Media Conference, when Prizren's chief prosecutor, Admir Shala, announced he has arrived in Kosovo through the Swiss Embassy, the report on Astrit Deharit case expertise.

So far, despite the demands of the Dehari family the expertise has not been given to them. The prosecution in Prizren last Friday, Dehar's parents and wife were told that the result of expertise has been submitted to translate, and for that it will take 3 days. This despite the Dehari family demanding that the report be handed over to the language with which the Institute in Lioza, Switzerland, has sent it to Kosovo.

The Express newspaper has contacted the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren on Wednesday to ask when the translation of the report will be completed.

Chief Prosecutor Admir Shala has told Gazeta Express that they are waiting when he will announce the translation has been conducted. He has claimed that the reason for the delay is because it is about material that has over 50 pages.

We're waiting for them to report. We believe it's over within the week. It's over 50 pages of material”, the chief prosecutor said.

The Dehari family and defence attorney Tome Gashi have reacted to the report's delay. The lawyer has complained that they do not know why it takes a week to translate a three-page report.

I don't understand this delay in translating a three-page report”, he said.

Vetevendosje Activist Astrit Dehari died on November 5, 2016, at Prizren's Centre of Premedigation. The report by the Institute of Legal Medicine about the causes of Astrit Dehari's death on November 18, 2016, revealed that Dehar has committed suicide, but the results of this report were rejected by parents of the deceased.

In October last year, the Government of Kosovo, following family demand, has allocated financial means to the amount of 50 thousand euros for additional expertise abroad in connection with Astrit Dehari's death.
