In an article in the newspaper “The Telegraph”, concerning a research whose results are published in “Science Advances” is projected that a possible nuclear war between India and Pakistan could cause about 125 million people to die in just a few days and that serious environmental consequences could occur.
In research, millions of people are said to be reduced by nuclear clouds from 20 to 35 percent of the sun's falling sun, which can lower the air temperature by 2-5 degrees and reduce snowfall by 15 to 30 percent.
Possible climate changes that can cause nuclear weapons can lead to a drop of between 15 and 30 percent of agricultural products by creating a situation that could cause failure and that the effects of nuclear war can last more than 10 years, research suggests.
Alan Robick, one of the researchers, drawing attention to the time of research, said that, “Research Time is appropriate. The conflict between India and Pakistan for Kashmir continues and people die on borders every month. Such war threatens not only the locations where bombs will fall, but the whole world”.
The other explorer, Brian Toon, said that, “this would be an unprecedented war. I hope India and Pakistan will consider this research”.
Further research says that failure to progress in resolving regional problems between India and Pakistan, continuing military conflicts, and rapidly continuing nuclear arming are a source of concern.
