The Witnesses said that the soldiers, along with the police, had traveled to the editorial edition of the newspaper “Dayly Trust” in the town of Maiduguri, arrested journalists and sent them in an unknown direction.
Journalists published a text explaining how the army faced difficulties in the fight against Boko Haram, the AP reports, adding that this extreme group has recently seized the strategic city of Bagh.
The military has not commented on the case at the moment.
