According to journalist Ahmed Husseyin, he was killed last night after the assailant was on a motorcycle and his pistol hit him in the chest and neck.
Hussain was part of the journalists' team on a secret mission led by Anas Azrejav Anas, a prominent researcher in Ghana.
Anas confirmed his death on social networks.
We have bad news, but neither will these. Rest in peace”, he wrote.
The journalist's work prompted Quassis Nantaki, then a member of the Council, the second most powerful man of African football, to be suspended from bribery and corruption last October. /Periscopi
